Today is the third day of our journey, and we're going to fly to Pokhara, a beautiful city in the Himalayas that's 822 meters above sea level. After you've had your breakfast, you'll head to the airport to catch a short flight to Pokhara. If the weather is good, you'll get to see some amazing views of the Himalayas from the air - think Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre, all looking incredible. The scenery on this flight is really something special, so be sure to have your camera ready to capture the stunning vistas. When you get to Pokhara, you'll head to your fancy resort by the lake. This place is really calm and pretty, with a huge lake and amazing mountains all around. Take some time to unwind in the afternoon with a leisurely boat ride on Phewa Lake. You can also stop by Tal Barahi Temple, which is situated on a tiny island right in the middle of the lake. Early in the morning, drive to Sarangkot for a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Today is dedicated to exciting wildlife activities inside Chitwan National Park. Following breakfast, you'll head to Bharatpur Airport for a quick flight back to Kathmandu - it's a great way to see the countryside from a different perspective. Head to Punakha Dzong, which is thought to be the most beautiful fortress monastery in all of Bhutan - it's definitely a must-see. Tiger's Nest Monastery is really something special - it's perched on the side of a cliff, 3,120 meters up, and it's Bhutan's most famous landmark. Lots of people make the pilgrimage to this sacred site. To get there, you have to hike through beautiful pine forests, and along the way, you'll see lots of prayer flags waving in the wind. The views of the valley are just incredible - it's a really breathtaking sight. After you've finished checking out the monastery, head back down the hill and go back to your hotel to unwind.
