Lhasa Everest Base Camp Trek– 13 Nights 14 is Tibet's most adventurous and exciting tour trekking package. This trail from Lhasa to Everest Base Camp (EBC) is 459 Kilometers, but you will only trek for a few kilometers from Tingri to Rongbuk. Tibet Everest Base Camp trek - one of the most popular tours and trekking packages in Tibet starts from Lhasa, exploring ancient sights and monasteries, driving through the tranquil Yamdrotso, exploring Shigatse - the second largest city of Tibet, and following the trail to Tingri crossing breathtaking high passes and ends at Everest Base Camp after four days of challenging trek in the high altitude.

Our 4-Day EBC trek starts from Old Tingri to Tingri Plains to Lungthag, passing Ra-Chu Valley. You will see the beautiful scenery of Ra-Chu valley with extensive meadows and packs of sheep and goats. The next day we trek from Lungthang to Lamna La, where we will camp above the top of this Lamna La Pass (15600ft). On the third day, we climb over Lamna La and decent to Zommug (15700ft). Our fourth and final day is the trek to Rongbuk (16,434ft), the final destination of this Tibet Everest Base Camp Trek. The next day early morning, we hike to Everest Base Camp (16732ft) to complete our ultimate goal, return to the Kyirong border, and finally, exit from Tibet to enter Nepal. Accommodation, Meals, and Luggage

You will be staying at hotels and guesthouses except for three nights. During the trek, you will be staying at our Tented Camps. Our Sherpa crew will fix the tents and prepare the meals for you. Regarding the luggage, you can bring only the required items for the trek; the unnecessary items can be kept in the car and received from Rongbuk after the tour. If you can not carry your stuff, you can also use Yak and Yak men to carry your bags.

You can drive up to the Everest Base Camp north without having a multi-day trek. However, trekking for a few days to reach the base camp is a lifetime experience. At the same time, the tour is challenging as you will be hiking at a high elevation with very thin oxygen; travelers from overland may not be well-adjusted to the altitude. So it is advised to consider this trek as tricky as you do it from the South col (Nepal side).

Mount Everest (8,848 m) has two popular Base Camps; called Everest South Face Base Camp (South Col) and Everest North Face Base Camp (North Col); these two base camps locate in different countries of Nepal & Tibet (China). The EBC South Face Base Camp in Nepal lies at an altitude of 5364m (17598 ft), whereas the North Face Base Camp in Tibet lies at an altitude of 5150m (16900 ft).

Adventure trekkers mostly use the South col as an Everest Base Camp trekking -14 Days and one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayas where you will require 7-8 days to walk into the base camp and more 3-4 more days to be back in a total of 62 Kilometers whereas; to reach North ridge of EBC; you will only trek for 4-5 days.
