Journey overview

The experience at a glance

Tibet Kharta Valley Trek – 16 Days starts from Lhasa and includes a visit to Kharta Valley, Khangsung, the east face of Mount Everest, Everest Base Camp, Tingri, and Shigatse, along with many other places on the way. Before heading to Kharta Valley, you will explore several monasteries, landmarks, and temples in Lhasa, Shigatse, and Gyantse. The Tibet tour is always special when you fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu or mainland China. The first thing that happens in your time seems remarkable when you fly over the tallest and most beautiful mountains in the world.

Tibet Kharta Valley Trek is a perfect trek tour for any adventurous group; this trek will take you to the northern Base Camp of Mt. Everest. You can indeed explore the foot of Everest as per your wish. One thing you must have to take part in this Tibet Kharta Valley Trek is your fitness and interest in the natural and pure elements of the world, especially the Himalayas.

Please read: This Kharta Valley Trek used to be concluded in Nyalam/Zhangmu. Unfortunately, due to the devastating 2015 earthquake in this region, the Kodari border has been closed. We are using another border (Kyirong/Kerung border crossing), or you will need to return to Lhasa to fly back to Kathmandu or flight or train to China)
