This newly opened adventure trekking presents amazing Annapurna Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchchhre (Fishtail) Mountains. This Delightful Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek has been extended to tourists since 2012; this 11-Day trail takes you through beautiful forests, several base camps, and rocky hills. You walk through stone-built traditional villages, several base camps, and rhododendron forests. This Mardi Himal trail is suitable for those who love less crowd and less touristic.
You can choose several ways from Pokhara to enter the route to Delightful Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek that meets in Deurali eventually. You follow the trekking itinerary/route to Forest Camp initiating from Deurali crossing through timber woods and rhododendron forests. The next stop after Forest Camp is Low Camp, which lies in the Jungle and concludes in the open ridge following the route to High Camp, which is 2nd last stop before Mardi Himal Base Camp. Having a day's rest at Low Camp is suggested to overcome altitude sickness. Finally, it takes about 4 hours to reach the destination of Delightful Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek at the altitude of 4100m. This way, your short trip to Mardi Himal base camp ends, and you will trek back to Deurali and take a jeep/bus ride to Pokhara.
