What is Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee?
As of September 2026, Bhutan charges a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of USD 100 per person per night for most international visitors. The SDF is paid to the Bhutanese government (separate from Himalayan Windows tour costs) and supports public services.
