Today, you will take a guided tour of Kathmandu's most revered UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath Temple, and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. You shall leave for the airport early in the morning to board your flight or helicopter ride to Lukla, one of the gateways to the Everest Region. After reaching Lukla, this is the place from where you shall embark on your trek as you take an attractive hike to Phakding. This is a moderate hike taking you all around the day, about three to four hours, and is surely going to set the tone for the adventure that lies ahead.
